I love all the so-called “woo woo” spiritual things (I’m a Pisces, after all), and not to brag but I’m pretty good at manifesting. Over the years, I’ve collected a few practices that I’ve found helpful. Here are some of my go-tos that inspire me and help me feel aligned.
Wishing you all a blessed and beautiful 2025 filled with positive thinking and manifesting magic. ✨
A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson
This book is a classic, and I love Marianne. Back in my 20s, during a tough breakup, I used to go see her speak about A Course in Miracles at a church in NYC after work. This was way before she ran for president. A Return to Love has become my emotional support book—I’ve re-read it so many times that the front cover is practically falling off. It’s traveled the world with me, offering comfort and wisdom whenever I’ve needed it most.
21 Days of Abundance Meditation Series
Developed by Deepak Chopra, this 21-day meditation course is such a simple way to connect with abundance. It’s only 15 minutes a day. Speaking of 21 day programs, Gabby Bernstein has a good one that I’ve done a few times!
Anything Joe Dispenza
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself is another classic. Joe Dispenza dives into quantum mechanics and the science of manifesting. I also really like this morning meditation from him.
HZ Music
I talk about this all the time. Just trust me and play it.
Abraham Hicks
I fully credit listening to Abraham Hicks with some MAJOR life changes I’ve experienced. The one weird thing is that it’s not super easy to find their talks in small clips, in an organized way. Anytime I find a podcast that cuts up their talks into digestible clips, it ends up getting taken down. But I’ve downloaded so many episodes over the years that I have a nice collection saved on my phone. On their site, they have a subscription that offers a monthly recording, but YouTube is also a great resource.. Honestly, devour whatever you can from them! One day I want to do one of their in-person workshops. The main message is get into alignment! Alignment first everything else will follow!
Louise Hay
Louise Hay is an icon in the world of affirmations and self-love. Again, devour whatever you can from her, but How to Heal Your Life is one of my all time favs. I reach for it all the time because there is a whole section on the spiritual meaning behind any type of ailment, and I reference it constantly. Yes, sometimes my friends roll their eyes when I tell them their ear infection is caused by anger, but I swear by her.
I loved this documentary! I first watched it ages ago, and it stuck with me—I recently revisited it and still found it just as compelling. While it does feel a bit dated (lots of skinny jeans), the content is still fascinating. Directed by Kelly Noonan Gores (fun fact: she’s Lauren Ireland from Summer Fridays’ stepmom) it delves into mind-body medicine and alternative healing modalities. She also has a podcast with the same name.
The documentary features some amazing thought leaders and healers, including ones I've mentioned here such as Joe Dispenza and Marianne Williamson.
Goop Are You Intuit Episode– I think everyone should watch this episode from the Goop series. I love Laura Lynn Jackson and her book Signs. This episode is a great reminder that we all have intuitive and psychic abilities–it’s not reserved for “special” people.
Aromatherapy– I love to use essential oils to de-stress and get aligned. My favorite is this one from Tata Harper—I’ll roll some into my palms, take a deep inhale, or simply enjoy the scent straight from the roller. I also like to make concoctions in the Virtuvi. My favorite mixture is lavender, geranium, eucalyptus, and peppermint, inspired by the Como hotels.
I’ve been so curious about Joe Dispenza as so many people I know love his meditations but keep forgetting to check him out. Thanks for the reminder
